Guided creative session designed for parents, in a child-friendly space.
These sessions are for parents wanting to do some art. We meet with our babies or kids in tow and find some time just for us. The kids play while we have some space to draw, write, or practice some other creative task.
Projects vary week to week but they are all approachable and fun even if you don’t feel you are artistic (we would argue that actually you are).
Run by me, Ellie, a midwife and published author with a history of running art sessions too! I will provide supplies, and give prompts to dissolve any creative blocks…to be clear the emphasis is on YOU the parent/guardian getting to do some art because we so rarely get to do such things.
These sessions are designed for parents of babies and young children. It’s perfect for you if you have a small baby/pre-walker. You are welcome to bring your child with you, we have toys/playmats. I also have a few activities for kids around age 5 or 6.
WHERE: East Barnwell Community Centre, Newmarket Rd, Cambridge CB5 8RS (free on site parking)
