𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝟸𝟷-𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 '𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨', 𝘪.𝘦. 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘸𝘪𝘧𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦

Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I’d come from a lineage of women with true autonomy. With power comes the ability to think. With power comes the space to be yourself. With power comes the ability to be intelligent. This power has been taken by people it didn’t belong to. 

My female ancestors have been inching forward. People get so frustrated and depressed when their life is built around drudgery. This results in ‘bitching’. Something which men are great at by the way, but when the people complaining have very little power of their own we call it bitching as opposed to unrest.

But it is enough to be here for now. There is a man in the next room who is learning how to think about life from my point of view. I am learning how to make money on my own terms. I am learning how to rest every day.

The women who got me here did a good job of passing the tools on. It is exhausting and too slow for anyone’s patience. But the progress is real.
