Exchanging personal statements is something we don’t usually encourage in the community. This is because UCAS use a plagiarism system called 'copycatch' which recognises even a couple of words. It then makes a report for admissions tutors with any flagged up similarities, and they have to make decisions about plagiarism. It's very easy when reading someone else's statement to be over inspired, and it would be such a shame to be flagged up when you've put so much effort in.
There has also been a case of an unscrupulous student taking another statement wholesale and submitting it, leading to the original student losing a place (not in the Secret Community).
This can even lead to you being banned from applying, something I’d hate this group to be involved in facilitating.
It's best not to ask/share midwifery interview questions linked to specific universities. This is because many universities ask candidates not to do this in case an unfair advantage is given. There are even some that have rules about accepting candidates who have done this frown emoticon I'd be heartbroken if anyone was at a disadvantage just through trying to help.
Thought we'd make and share this image just as a reminder, I do wish you the very best of luck and sending good thoughts your way if you have an interview coming up
