Got an interview coming up with a maths test? Well done, getting to the interview stage is a huge achievement!
This test is designed to be done without a calculator, but it should be helpful for a calculator test too.
I hope you found it helpful. I also wanted to let you know I take on a small number of students for practice interviews via video chat.
Options include preparation for traditional one-to-one midwifery interviews, and Multiple Mini Interview practice.
James and I had a lot of fun putting together this stop motion video on the service we offer - interview prep is something I really love. I only take a small number of students as I'm committed to giving the best possible feedback and support for interview technique.
Remember, the admissions tutors are not looking for perfection. Midwifery knowledge is great and fascinating, but please don't feel you haven't got a chance if you don't know what MBRRACE or the Zika virus is!
Your inner qualities like empathy and compassion, your ability to learn and being curious about research, your passion for the rights of women and families, good communication skills and common sense are what admissions tutors are after.
Learn to demonstrate these, and you've got interview skills for life 🙂
Much love, and good luck with your interview! Ellie x
